How to Get Involved
We are always looking for volunteers to help with our children’s and youth ministries! We have something for everyone — from working directly with any age group to organizing things behind the scenes. All it takes is a little training!
Playgroup hosts get to spend Wednesday mornings with our youngest children.
Good Shepherd teachers work with our three’s, JK, SK children once or twice a month on Sunday mornings during worship.
True Vine teachers work with 1st and 2nd Grade once or twice a month on Sunday mornings during worship.
Children’s Chapel teachers work with 3rd and 4th Graders once or twice a month on Sunday mornings during worship.
Kids Connection leaders help with our monthly program for 3rd and 4th graders on Sunday afternoons.
Club 56 leaders help with our weekly pre-Confirmation program for 5th and 6th graders once or twice a month on Wednesday afternoons.
Confirmation Mentors lead our 7th and 8th grade small group break-out activities and chaperone trips once or twice a month.
Soul Fuel leaders help lead our gatherings and chaperone trips for high school youth once or twice a month.
Mission Trip chaperones join us for the summer mission trip.
Family Events Team members help us plan our children’s and youth events throughout the year.
All of our volunteers are required to complete the Keeping God’s People Safe training through the diocese, as well as a background check.
