A collaboration with Holy Comforter Kenilworth and Holy Spirit Lake Forest - Black Erasure in Our Midst. Glencoe used to have a thriving black community that was well integrated into the life of the village. Systematically, that community was dismantled. Please join us to visit the Glencoe Historical Society’s wonderful exhibit and meet with some of its curators. We will hold a pilgrimage to the sites of erasure, pray and witness to them, and gather at St. Elizabeth’s afterwards for hot chocolate and reflection. For more info, email Rev.
