Leading With Love: Voices of Chicago's Civil Rights Movement

We know Rosa Parks, Montgomery, Selma’s Edmund Pettus Bridge, but what happened in Chicago? In part, Dr. Martin Luther King handed leadership of Chicago’s Civil Rights journey to Rev. Jesse Jackson who founded the then Operation Bread Basket. Over zoom we will hear firsthand witnesses share their experience to prepare us for our upcoming field trip the next day. Please RSVP to Mother Jihan Murray-Smith from Church of the Holy Spirit at jihan@chslf.org for the link.
