Through Baptism, we invite the Holy Spirit to bring us into relationship with God,
and we commit ourselves to worship and serve God and God’s people.

At every Baptism, we all promise to support one another to live into our Baptismal vows as individuals and as loving members of a community of faith.

In the Episcopal Church, Baptism involves the sprinkling of, or submersion in, sanctified water and can take place at any time during a person’s life.

We have a program for parents and godparents, and for adults who are being prepared for Baptism.

We joyfully celebrate Baptism several times a year at the baptismal font in the Sanctuary: at the Easter Vigil, on the day of Pentecost, on All Saints Day and on the Feast of the Baptism of Our Lord. We also offer Baptism in Lake Michigan during summer services.
