Max is eating a cold hamburger between two pancakes. Mike teaching Teddy the spear game. This is played by teens on the snow and ice–the goal is to slide the spear the farthest. Ethan throwing the spear! Quinn playing the spear game. Another game similar to the spear one is played using the tip of the rib bone of a buffalo. Two long feathers are attached to the end and when you toss it over ice, the wind will catch the feathers and make it glide on the curved part of the rib. It worked well enough on asphalt to show us how cool it would be on the ice! Sticks championship game! Charlie, Grant, Jack and Christopher (Team Echo) vs. Duncan, Max, Kenzie, and Kate (Team Blue).
