fellowship
We gather together often in Fellowship, and you’re invited to join us. Fellowship is central to our lives as Christians. We enjoy each others’ company, we have fun, and we create a community of caring and sharing along the way. Over a cup of coffee on Sunday morning or a shared meal during the week, we live into Christ’s commandment to love one another.
Annual Fellowship Events
September 7th – Fall Parish Picnic
September 19th – Annual Rummage Tent Party
October 21st – Stewardship Dinner
December 14th – Caroling Party
The annual Christ Church Caroling Party is Sunday, December 14 at 5:00 pm in the Great Hall (470 Maple Street). You’ll enjoy a light supper and all the carols you can remember. This is VERY child-friendly! And lots of fun!
December – Gift Wrapping & Stocking Stuffing
Our annual stocking stuffing event is great fun for the whole family. We wrap items for 50 stockings that go to homeless individuals living on the streets of Chicago. Everyone can participate!
Foyer Groups
These social gatherings bring groups of 8-10 adults together to share a meal and get to know one another. Once groups are formed, one member is asked to host the first gathering, with everyone contributing to the meal. Then the group decides when to get together again. Typically, groups meet 4-5 times over the coming year. This is a great way to get to know your fellow parishioners in a small group setting. Foyer Groups have been formed for 2014. For more information about these groups or to learn how to get involved next year, please contact the office for more information.
