Club 56 is a pre-Confirmation program for 5th and 6th graders. The goal of Club 56 is to make friends, learn about the Bible, and feel comfortable at church. We hang out, pray, eat pizza and a tasty dessert, play games, and do crafts. All activities are related to the week’s theme and Bible story. We hear stories in the order they occur in the Bible so that we get to know the characters and how the story relates to the overall message of scripture. We talk about what life was like when the stories were written and took place. Each story is paired with a theme based on typical challenges faced by 5th and 6th graders, and our games and crafts match the theme!
Club 56 meets every Wednesday from 6 to 6:50 pm at 784 Sheridan Road.
We meet September 16 through June 2 (except November 25, December 23, December 30, Feb. 17, March 31).
Friends are always welcome!

Keeping God’s People Safe
The Christ Church community is committed to maintaining a safe and supportive atmosphere for our children and youth. To foster a secure environment, we provide Keeping God’s People Safe training to all who work with our children and youth, including church school teachers, volunteer youth leaders, mentors, clergy, and staff. This training sensitizes us to the dangers of child sexual abuse and teaches us to recognize and prevent situations in which abuse or exploitation might occur. Please contact the parish office if you have any questions regarding this training.
