Christ Church Youth

Youth Masthead

	Jr. & Sr. High Youth Ministry		Young people at Christ Church are encouraged to participate fully in the life of the congregation, while they also have times to gather among themselves for regularly scheduled meetings and activities. We strive to help our youth feel welcome by building relationships with other young people and allowing them to take on responsibilities in the service outside of the church. We want everyone to continue to travel on their own faith journey which neither begins nor ends with Confirmation, but is lifelong. Every Sunday following the 9 a.m. service there is a coffee hour for the high school group. The junior high youth have Confirmation instruction and preparation at this time.

	Confirmation		The Confirmation class receives the Laying on of Hands from the Bishop in May. Weekly instruction & preparation continue September-May. Three Confirmation Retreats are scheduled during the year for community building and include an overnight at the end of the program year.
